Hello! My name is Ella Paterson and I am a second year student in the UVIC BEd program. I spent my first year at Camosun Collage, where I spent my free time volunteering at my local elementary school a few days a week. This hands-on experience allowed me to see the theories I studied in class, and gave me a better understanding of how every child learns differently. The time I spent with these students, watching how their brains work and their learning developed is what solidified my decision to want to become an educator.
Something fun about me is that I love to play soccer! I have played my entire life, and I spent majority of my high school years coaching youth teams.
I am very excited to share my journey relearning the violin!
